Removing and replacing an energy packRemoving and replacing an energy pack
ProcedureProcedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Disconnect any external cables that are connected to the expansion board.
4. Do one of the following:
Extend the server from the rack .
Remove the server from the rack .
5. Remove the access panel .
6. Do one of the following:
Remove the air baffle.
Remove the midplane drive cage .
7. Remove the fan cage.
8. Disconnect the energy pack cable, and then remove the energy pack.
