Identify liquid cooling components
In addition to the tools and materials required for the DLC System, be sure you also have the following:
T-30 Torx screwdriver
T-10 Torx screwdriver
About this taskAbout this task
The entire cooling loop must be removed as one unit. Do not attempt to remove riser cages or cold plates separately.
ProcedureProcedure
1. Back up all server data.
2. Power down the server.
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect the hoses from the DLC manifold.
5. Remove the server from the rack .
6. Remove the access panel .
7. Prepare to remove the components.
a. Loosen the riser cage or NS204i-u boot device. Set it on the slot or chassis while you loosen the cold plate nuts.
For the NS204i-u assembly:
