14.31 Can I use a charger of other brands to charge my
phone?
Yes if the output current and voltage of the charger are the same as those of the provided
charger. For details, see the instructions on the charger label.
Use chargers that are certified and produced by trusted manufacturers. Check that there is a
certification mark on the charger label.
14.32 Will my battery's lifespan be affected if I play my
phone while charging it?
When the battery is being charged, it does not discharge and the power is provided by the
charger if you play your phone. Therefore, the battery's lifespan will not be affected.
14.33 Why is my phone severely overheated during an online
update?
To increase the update speed, the update program will be accelerated with a large amount of
eMMC and memory reading and writing, resulting in high power consumption within a short
period. So your phone is severely overheated. The phone will cool down after the update.
14.34 Why is the charging icon still on the status bar after my
phone is fully charged but still connected to a charger?
This is a normal phenomenon:
1. After your phone is fully charged, the charging icon is still displayed when the phone is
still connected to the charger. This is to show you that your charger works properly.
2. Smartphones of other brands also adopt such a design.
14.35 Why is my phone severely overheated during quick
charging?
Your phone's quick charging uses the 9 V 2 A charger with large charging power, so the heat
generated is greater than that generated in normal charging scenarios. However, the heat
generated during quick charging is controlled within the safe range. All quick charging
methods in the market cause smartphones to overheat. The heat generated by your phone is
lower than those generated by other smartphones.
It is recommended that you not use your phone during quick charging to reduce the heat
generated. It would be best if you quick charge your phone with its screen turned off.
