17.12.13 Why can't I unlock the screen using my fingerprint after
my phone is connected to a charger of another brand?
Please use the standard charger that comes with your phone.
Non-standard chargers have different anti-interference capabilities. The interference from the
charger power supply will affect the performance of the fingerprint sensor, resulting in
changes of fingerprint images.
17.12.14 Why can I unlock my screen even if my finger is not
perfectly aligned with the fingerprint sensor?
Your phone's fingerprint sensor has an identification angle of 360 degrees, so it can read your
fingerprint even if your finger is not perfectly aligned with the sensor.
17.12.15 Will my fingerprint information be disclosed?
Your fingerprint information is stored in the independent bottom chipset with a hardware
package. No one can read the fingerprint information, and the fingerprint information will not
be uploaded to any server. This storage mechanism contributed to our cooperation with Alipay
in releasing the industrial standards for the fingerprint-based payment system.
17.12.16 Why do I have to record my fingerprint for several times?
1. This is normal. Your phone records a large area of your fingerprint after you enroll your
fingerprint for several times. It will be easier for your phone to read your fingerprint if the
fingerprint area recorded is larger. For example: If you have enrolled four different areas of
your fingerprint, you can use any one of the areas to unlock your phone.
Therefore, when you are enrolling your fingerprint, the enrolling screen will tell you to enroll
the center and edges of your finger for several times. Your phone has a fingerprint
identification angle of 360 degrees. You can press your finger against the fingerprint sensor
from any angle to enroll your fingerprint.
Multiple fingerprint images will be enrolled. If any image is unqualified, your phone will ask
you to enroll again. These fingerprint images are for the convenience of fingerprint
identification to unlock your phone.
2. The fingerprint sensor is pressure-sensitive. There is a weak signal surrounding the
depressed fingerprint identification area. When you press your finger against this area, your
fingerprint is transmitted to the contact surface for identification and detection.
For woman users, use the finger pad to press against the fingerprint sensor and make sure the
edges of your finger are fully enrolled, for the convenience of easy unlock.
3. Fingers may be dry or wet (oily and easy to sweat). If your finger is dry, to avoid unclear
fingerprint images, you need to press your finger against the fingerprint sensor more strongly.
If your finger is wet, easy to sweat, or oily, it is recommended that you use tissues to wipe
your fingers before you enroll your fingerprint.
4. If the fingerprint sensor or your finger is dirty, your phone may fail to read your fingerprint.
Check that there is no dust, sweat, or other smudges on your finger or the fingerprint sensor.
Clean your fingerprint sensor, if necessary.
