Make sure you phone is connected to a mobile or Wi-Fi network after the update.

Your network condition may be poor, so the downloaded installation package is not complete.
Re-download the installation package. If the network condition is still poor, use another
network or download the package at another time.

on your phone before update.

Online update: Connect to a mobile or Wi-Fi network before the update.
Go to Settings > System updates > Online update and update your phone.

Local update: Go to the Huawei Downloads Page and download the software update
package. Update your phone according to the update instructions.
If your phone supports OTG, update your phone using a storage device.
1. Use a USB OTG cable to connect your phone to a USB flash drive. The authorized
Huawei USB OTG cable is recommended. To purchase a USB OTG cable, contact your
device vendor.
2. Go to the Huawei Downloads Page, download the software update package, and copy the
dload folder to the root directory of the USB flash drive.
3. Go to Settings > Updater > Menu > Local update and follow the onscreen instructions
to perform an update.
