l If the network environment is set up as shown in Figure 1-14, run the ip route-static
command to add a route from the maintenance Ethernet port of the MA5600T/MA5603T/
MA5608T to the maintenance terminal.

huawei(config)#ip route-static 10.10.1.0 24 10.50.1.1
Step 4 Run the telnet application.
On the maintenance terminal, choose Start > Run. On the Run window, input "telnet
10.50.1.10" in the Open field as shown in Figure 1-16 (considering the Windows OS as an
example), and click OK. Then, the telnet dialog box is displayed.

Step 5 Log in to the system.
In the telnet dialog box, input the user name and the password. By default, the user name is
root, and the password is admin. When the login is successful, the system displays the following
information:

>>User password:admin
