2. Now press down the button on top of the
coupler fully. Use a polygrip as the button
on the coupler is difcult to press down by
hand.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Twisted cables, or screw terminal (chock-
blocks), insulated with insulation tape
are not satisfactory splices. Soil moisture
will cause the leads to oxidise and after
a while result in a broken circuit.
3.3 Guide wire

3.3.1 Installation of the guide wire
• The position of the charging station and
where the guide wire is connected along the
boundary loop has an impact on how long
the guide loop will be. See 1.10 Guide loop
on page 16.
Make the guide loop as short as possible. If
the guide loop is longer than
400 m / 1 300 ft it may be hard for the
mower to follow the wire.
The illustrations show how a guide loop
can look. The top illustration is also a good
example of a good charging station position
that results in the shortest possible guide
loop.
