5.20 Replacing the main circuit
board, charging station
1. Remove the cover from the charging station.
See 5.3 Disassembling the charging station on
page 63.
2. Loosen all contacts from the circuit board.
3. Snap off the circuit board from the charging
tower by carefully turning back the locking
edges.
4. Fit the new circuit board.
5. Reconnect all connectors to the circuit board.
6. Assemble the charging station in reverse order.
5.21 Replacing the contact strips,
charging station
When the mower’s battery does not recharge or the
mower cannot contact the charging station, this may be
due to worn contact strips in the charging station. The
contact strips should be replaced when blackened or
oxidised. Also check the charging strips on the mower.
See 5.5 Replacing the charging strips on page 64.
1. Remove the cover from the charging station.
See 5.3 Disassembling the charging station on
page 63.
2. Unscrew the 2 screws (Torx 20) securing the
contact strips.
3. Replace the contact strips. Also check that the
cable lugs are undamaged and are not oxidised.
4. Fit the contact strips and tighten the screws with
recommended torque. Fit the charging station
cover.
Note! Make sure that the contact strip can move
freely and that it springs back.
