5.3 Disassembling the charging
station
Replacing the antenna plate in the charging station
also requires that the charging tower is detached
from the charging station (see points 6 and 7 below).
To replace e.g. a circuit board or a contact strip,
it is sufcient to remove the cover from the charging
station.
1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Disconnect all cables from the charging
station, i.e. low voltage cable, boundary wire
and guide wires.
3. Loosen the two screws (Torx 20) on the front
of the charging tower.
4. Carefully lift the charging cover forward and
upward from the charging tower until the cover
comes away from the tower.
5. Disconnect the charging cables from the main
circuit board.
6. If the antenna plate must be disconnected
from the charging tower, the 4 screws (Torx
20) underneath the charging station must be
loosened.
7. Disconnect the connector with the signal
cables from the main circuit board and prise
out the rubber grommet from the tower.
5.4 Assembling the charging
station
Assembling the charging station takes place in reverse
order to 5.3 Disassembling the charging station on
page 63. Make sure that no cables are pinched and
that the rubber grommet for the signal cables are in
place.
