Automower® 310/315 and GARDENA R100Li,
R100LiC,R130Li, R130LiC, R160Li have a
5 mm / 0.2 ” sealing strip, unlike for example
models 220AC and 305, which have a 4 mm /
0.16 ” strip.
A 5 mm / 0.2 ” sealing strip must be used
on Automower® 310/315, and GARDENA
R100Li, R100LiC,R130Li, R130LiC, R160Li.
Sealing may be decient if the wrong
sealing strip is used, leading to costly
repair work.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The sealing strip can be laid both clockwise and
counter-clockwise. See 5.22 Assembling the sealing
strip on page 77
5. Fit the HMI cable from the chassis’ upper
section to the main circuit board.
6. Fit the chassis’ upper section to the lower
section. Check that the HMI cable or other
cables are not pinched between the chassis
halves.
7. Screw the upper and lower sections of the
chassis together with the 14 screws (Torx 20).
The screws should be tightened crosswise.
8. Fit the cutting height adjustment knob.
9. Glue on a new guarantee seal. It is possible
to make notes for instance about dates
or dealer signatures on the guarantee label.
Always t the retted chassis halves with
a new guarantee seal. The guarantee seal
must be included and unbroken for the
guarantee to be valid.

5.2.6 Assembling the body
1. Assemble the body on the chassis by pressing
the body on top of the chassis’s snap-on
connectors, one corner at a time.
2. Connect the charging cable from the body
with the charging cable from the chassis.
3. Correctly replace the rubber grommet on the
charging cable in the chassis to prevent any
moisture getting into the chassis.
