1 Green LEDs
2 Amber LEDs
The following table lists the link status values for the Fibre Channel LEDs.

Green LED Amber LED Meaning
Off Off One of the following situations is in effect:
• The port is not congured in flex hardware.
• The port is not active in the current prole.
For example, in a 2 x 16 Gb prole, 2 ports
are inactive.
Off On The port is congured, but the link is not
detected at the transport layer. This situation
is the result of the port not being connected
or of a failed link negotiation with the switch.
On Off The link is up and running at the expected
port speed. This display does not necessarily
imply logical connectivity, that is, completion
of FLOGI or FIP.
On On The link is up, but running at a degraded
speed.
SAS port LEDs
LEDs on the rear of the SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 node indicate the status of the SAS port.
The SAN Volume Controller 2145-SV1 uses two rows of LEDs on the optional 12 Gbps SAS adapter to
show the status of the SAS port. The LEDs are arranged in the same order as the ports. Those four ports
are immediately to the right of the LEDs and are numbered from left to right. The following gure shows
the location of the LEDs.
