Select Storage Subsystem View This menu item offers several option for configuration
view and detailed information about the storage subsystem.
View Profile
It opens window with Storage Subsystem Profile. More detailed explanation of subsystem
profile content is in Chapter 14, “Administration - Support” on page 337.

Enclosure Components Controller Enclosure
Since the DS3500 only has Controller/Drive Enclosures and Drive Enclosures, this item is not
available for DS3500, and is always greyed.

Enclosure Components Controller/Drive Enclosure
It shows properties of DS3500 Controller Enclosure (Figure 8-3 on page 197). As written
above, all displayed informations are taken from the subsystem profile. You can also change
Enclosure ID here or locate enclosure in the rack by blinking its blue LED diodes on the left
side of the DS3500 enclosure.
Note: All the information and views offered by Storage Manager in different sections are
originated from the subsystem profile. Usually all the component properties windows in
Storage Manager just show information from the subsystem profile more comfortably.
