10.After a successful installation, a similar screen as in Figure 5-21 will be shown. If there are
no errors, click on Done to exit.

11.Optionally, verify the installation by running the command rpm -qa |grep SM and look for
the below RPM packages in the installed package list:
SMclient-10.70.G5.08-1.noarch
SMesm-10.70.G5.02-1.noarch
SMruntime-10.70.A5.00-1.i586
5.2.3 Installing DS Storage Manager using a text console
It is possible to install the IBM Systems Storage DS Storage Manager without any graphical
interface by using the console mode installation. After installing the Storage Manager Agent,
the system can be managed from any host that has the client installed and a network
connection to this server.
Use the following steps:
1. Start the installer with the option -i console. Select the locale (the default is English), and
press Enter as shown in Example 5-2
