Clear All: Select this option to clear the event log. In the confirmation window
(Figure 14-97), type yes to delete all the events. We recommend that you save all event
logs before clearing the log.

14.7 Performance Monitor
In this section we discuss the DS Storage Manager Performance Monitor software. You can
use the Performance Monitor to monitor the performance of various aspects of all of the
subsystem logical drives and controllers, or you can select specific logical drives and
controllers to monitor.
1. Open the Performance Monitor by clicking the Storage Subsystem Performance
Monitor menu command on the DS Storage Manager (Subsystem Management) window
or the by clicking on the stopwatch icon in the Subsystem Management icon bar. The
performance monitor window is shown in Figure 14-98.

2. Click on the settings button to configure the Performance Monitor (Figure 14-99 on
page 401). In this window you select the specific logical drives and controllers that you
