Chapter 13. Administration - iSCSI
In this chapter we describe iSCSI management options which are available in the DS Storage
Manager. These options are specific only for IBM System Storage DS3500 with optional
iSCSI daughter cards installed.
In contrast with previous versions of DS Storage Manager for DS3300 Storage Subsystem
(iSCSI model), there is no special iSCSI tab to manage all iSCSI settings. The most of iSCSI
settings are done from the Storage Subsystem pull down menu.
Theoretical information about iSCSI protocol are described in Chapter 1, “Disk attachment
technology” on page 1.
