D Preparation
Access the following URL and download the rmware le.

1� Click the “Firmware/Software” link.

2� Enter “IC-905” into the Search box, and then click
[Search].

3� Click the desired firmware file link.
4� Carefully read “Regarding this Download Service.”
Click “Agree,” and then click [Download].

5� Click “Save as” in the displayed File Download
dialog�

6� Select the location where you want to save the
firmware, and then click [Save] in the displayed
File Download dialog.

• The le starts downloading.
• The rmware data is compressed in a “zip” format
folder. Unzip it before use.
D Unzipping the firmware folder
1� Right-click the downloaded firmware folder (zip
format).
• The right-click menu is displayed.
2� Click “Extract All...”

• After unzipping, a folder is created in the same
location as the downloaded folder.
L In the “905*” folder, “905*.dat” is created.
* Represents the release number.
