■ Function display
q BATTERY INDICATOR (pgs. 10, 12)
➥ “ ” (battery indicators) appear when the Li-Ion bat-
tery pack is attached.
➥ “ ” appears when the battery pack must be charged.
➥ The indicators show “ ,” “ ” and “ ” in se-
quence while charging the attached battery pack.
w DUPLEX INDICATORS (p. 29)
“ +DUP” appears when plus duplex, “–DUP” appears when
minus duplex is selected.
e PRIORITY WATCH INDICATOR (p. 83)
Appears when priority watch is in use.
r TONE INDICATORS
• While operating in FM mode;
➥ “ TONE” appears while the subaudible tone encoder is
