2.2 Displays in the Viewfinder
Side Mask Function
When the camera output aspect ratio is set to 16:9, the picture
on the viewnder is displayed with a 16:9 aspect ratio. In
consideration of converting to a 4:3 picture, the contrast of the
mask area can be adjusted. The side mask is displayed when the
VF aspect ratio is set to the following ratio:
- With 16:9 mode: 4:3, 13:9, 14:9

Display Mode
The display mode sets the markers and characters to be displayed in the viewnder.
