2 Make sure that the turbo molecular pump 2 has started up.
ð The turbo molecular pump 2 can be switched on or off, see “Switch TMP2
mode on or off [}66]“ (supervisor rights).
ð When I•RISE measurement is possible, the color of the I•RISE icon changes
from gray to blue on the measurement screen.
Making I•RISE settings
ü Operator or Supervisor rights
1 > Setup > Measurement > Vacuum > I•RISE
2 Enter the volume of the recipient in liters under "Volume test object".
3 Enter the desired unit for the I•RISE measurement under "I•RISE unit".
ð Possible units are: "mbar/s", "mbar/min", "Pa/s", "Pa/min", "Torr/s" and "Torr/
min".
4 Under "I•RISE permission", select from which authorization group the leak
detection with I•RISE may be started.
ð User" (factory setting), "Operator" and "Supervisor" are available for
selection.
Set I•RISE setpoint
You can set the leak rate for the I•RISE setpoint separately.
If the setpoint value is exceeded, the color of the measuring points changes in the
measuring window. The setpoint also defines the trigger point for the different alarms,
see also "Change audio settings [}58]".
ü Operator or Supervisor rights
1 > Setpoints
2 Adjust.
3 Save .
Start or stop I•RISE
ü I•RISE measurement is possible (see above).
ü The I•RISE settings have been made.
1 To start the I•RISE measurement, press on the measurement screen.
ð The color of this button changes to white and the measurement screen
changes to the I•RISE display.
