7 Warning and error messages
During operation, the display shows information that helps you operate the device.
Measurement values are displayed along with current device modes, operating
instructions as well as warnings and error messages. The device is equipped with
extensive self-diagnostic functions. If the electronics detect a faulty state, the device
will show this as far as possible on the display and will interrupt operation when
necessary. Warning and error messages consist of a number, a descriptive text, and
often an associated measured value (e.g., a measured voltage).
Warnings Warnings warn of device states that can impair the accuracy of measurements.
Operation of the instrument is not interrupted.

To close a warning message, press the button ”Clear” after reading.
Error messages Errors are events that force the interruption of the operation.
For details about the cause and the remedy, press .
Once you have rectified the cause of the error, continue operation by pressing the
button "Clear".

This menu item is only displayed when the template contains errors or warnings:

Confirmed warnings If an active warning is acknowledged without rectifying the cause, it is displayed under
"Confirmed warnings".

Special case If the supply voltage falls below the permitted operating voltage range, see “Technical
data [}32]“, the internal 24 V supply of the leak detector may fail while the backing
pump continues to run anyway. This occurs very rarely.
1 If you do not see any indication in the display when the device is switched on
and all LEDs on the device are also dark, switch the device off at the mains
switch.
2 Have your mains voltage checked by a qualified electrician.
3 If the problem persists, contact customer service.
