4 IF2 Network Reader User Manual
Power Over
Ethernet
• Green if Power Over Ethernet (POE) is
enabled.
• Red if a fault condition is detected. For
example, if the power converter for POE
does not provide enough power to the IF2,
the POE LED stays red indicating a fault
condition.
• Red if the POE converter is not capable of
meeting 802.3 AT standards.. If this is the
case, the IF2 continues to run if it has
enough power.
Power On when the IF2 has power.
Wired LAN
• Off when there is no Ethernet connectivity.
• On when an Ethernet link is detected.
• Flashes when there is activity on the
Ethernet network.
RFID status
• Green if RF power is being transmitted.
• Red if an antenna fault is detected, or if the
reader cannot output the requested RF
power level.
• Off if RF power is off.
Tag ID Flashes when an RFID tag ID is successfully
read or written to.
