6.2. Inspection of the bearing unit
Check the bearing unit for run-out. If the run-
out is more than 0.2 mm, replace the pump as-
sembly.
7. INSPECTION OF THERMOSTAT
• Inspection of activiating temperatures at which
the valve starts to open and opens fully
Put the thermostat in water and heat the water
gradually by stirring.
Check for the temperature at which the valve
starts to open and that at which the valve opens
fully.
