Control Unit
Removal and Replacement
Remove the securing screws and pry off the control unit A
from the pump housing.
When replacing, use new gasket B and ‘O’ ring C.
Dismantling and Assembly
The control unit may be dismantled for cleaning. If any
parts are found to be worn or damaged the whole unit
should be replaced.
Pole tube D should be tightened to 19 Nm (14 lbf ft).
Solenoid nut E should be tightened to 5-6 Nm (3.7-4.4 lbf
ft) using a 26mm A/F socket.
