Wheel Drive Motor - Valve
Dismantling
1 Mark the position of the valve in relation to the valving
cover K Fig 102. ( T E-127).

2 Separate the valve disc from the cover by levering at
the indexing pins or at the flange. Protect the valve
disc from dust.
3 Remove the springs.
4 Remove and discard the seals and back-up rings
(048) from the cover.
Assembly
1 Remove all traces of rust and dirt

2 Lubricate and install new seals and back-up rings
ensuring that the back-up rings are twisted as little as
possible.
3 Fill the spring holes with grease and place the springs
in the holes.
4 Lubricate the sealing faces of the valve disc

5 Press the valve disc into the cover. Do not use force.
Check that the valve disc is fitted correctly in relation
to the cover.
6 The valve disc on rear wheel motors is mounted in a
different position depending on whether the motor is
on the left or right side of the machine. The valve disc
has two slots, one of which locates on a dowel A fitted
in the cover. Ensure when fitting the valve disc that
the correct slot is located in the dowel, as shown
below, according to the mounting position of the
motor
