ADJUSTMENT
The
gain
should
be
switched
when
the
brightness
is
not
enough
due
to
the
poor
lighting
condition.
GAIN
SWITCHING
This
switch
allows
the
gain
to
be
boostedwhen
the
illumination
of
AUTOIRIS
FULLAUTO~LOLUX
BLACK

object
is
insufficient.

Smooth
gain
transition
The
gain
transition
can
be
made
smoother
using
“SMOOTH
TRANS”
of
the
ADVANCED
MENU.
However,
note
that
the
SMOOTH
TRANS
function
is
not
avail-
able
if
the
switch
is
set
to
ALC.
GAIN
BOOST
UNDER
LOLUX
CONDITION
The
LOLUX
on/off
button
is
designed
to
be
used
when
an
illumina-
LOLUX
on/off
button
tion
insufficient
cannot
be
compensated
for
with
the
GAIN
switch
alone.
Press
the
button
to
enter
the
LOLUX
mode
in
which
the
gain
is
boosted
by
about
33
dB.
“LOLUX
ON”
is
displayed
for
a
few
seconds
on
the
status
0
or
1
mode
screen
inside
the
viewfinder.
Pressing
the
button
again
cancels
the
LOLUX
mode.
“LOLUX
OFP’
is
displayed
for
a
few
seconds.

Switching
to
SUPER
LOLUX
boost
The
LOLUX
boost
value
can
be
changed
to
the
SUPER
LOLUX
GAIN
switch
SAN
on on
or
value
by
using
the
ADVANCED
MENU.

gain
boost

SUPER
LOLUX
is
about
39
dB.
However,
an

the
SUPER
LOLUX
function
is
on,
the
after-image
will
