This is one of the base mounts used to install the tripod base
on the camera.
Together with the front tripod base mount, it secures the cam-
era on the tripod base.

This connector is designed for 12 volts DC input.
This connector is activated by setting the POWER SWITCH
® to DC INPUT, and has priority over the Battery holder®.
