Features of your vehicle Door locks
Door lock malfunction
If a power door lock ever fails to
function whilst you are in the vehi
-
cle, try one or more of the following
techniques to exit:
䳜 Operate the door unlock feature
repeatedly (both electronic and
manual) whilst simultaneously
pulling on the door handle.
䳜 Operate the other door locks and
handles, front and rear.
䳜 Lower a front window and use the
key to unlock the door from out
-
side.
䳜 Move to the cargo area and open
the tailgate.
Do not pull the inner door handle of
driver's (or passenger's) door whilst
the vehicle is moving.
With central door lock/unlock
switch
It is operated by pressing the door
lock/unlock switch.
䳜 8hen you press the central door
lock switch, all vehicle doors will
lock and the indicator light on the
switch will illuminate.
䳜 If any front door is opened when
the switch is pressed, all doors will
not lock.
䳜 If any door is unlocked, the indica
-
tor of the central door lock switch
will go off.
䳜 8hen you press the central door
unlock switch, all vehicle doors will
unlock.
䳜 If one of the door is unlocked
whilst all doors are locked, the
indicator will blink.
Once the doors are locked with the
transmitter or smart key, the doors
cannot be unlocked with the central
door lock/ unlock switch.
