This function is a supplemental
function and it is not intended to nor
does it replace the need for extreme
care and attention of the driver. The
sensing range and objects detect

able by the rear ultrasonic sensors
(1) are limited. 8henever backing-
up, pay as much attention to what
is behind you as you would in a vehi

cle without 3everse Parking Dis

tance 8arning.

illuminated.
If you desire to deactivate

ing, press the Parking Distance
8arning OFF button again. (The
indicator on the button will illumi

nate.) To turn the function on,
press the button again. (The indi

cator on the button will go off.)
