Windscreen defrosting and defogging
Automatic climate control system
1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON
position.
2. Select the defrost position press
-
ing defrost button ( ).
3. 8hilst holding the air conditioning
button (A/C) pressed, press the
air intake control button at least
times within 3 seconds.
The A/C display blinks 3 times. It
indicates that the defogging logic is
cancelled or returned to the pro
-
grammed status.
If the battery has been discharged
or disconnected, it is reset to the
defog logic status.
Auto defogging system (Only for
automatic climate control system)
(if equipped)
Auto defogging reduces the possi
-
bility of fogging up the inside of the
windscreen by automatically sens
-
ing the moisture of inside the wind
-
screen and air flow toward the
windscreen can increase.
The auto defogging system oper

ates when the AUTO mode is on.
For Europe
If your vehicle is equipped with the
auto defogging system, it is auto
-
matically activated when the condi
-
tions are met.
8hen the auto fogging system
senses moisture inside of the wind

screen, air flow towards the wind

screen can increase.
However, if you would like to deacti
-
vate the auto defogging system,
keep the front defroster button
pressed longer than 3 seconds.
