Idle Stop and Go (ISG) system
䳜 The front windscreen defroster is
off

shift mode (Excluding : Manual
Transmission)
䳜 Certain amount of time passed
after releasing the gear from 3
position.
The engine will also restart auto

matically without the driver䳓s any
actions if the following occurs:
䳜 The brake vacuum pressure is
low.
䳜 You have exceeded the maximum
engine off time
䳜 The air conditioning is ON with the
fan speed set to the highest posi

tion.
䳜 Fogging of the windows could
occur and the air conditioning is
on.
䳜 The battery is not within optimal
operating
䳜 The cooling and heating perfor
-
mance of the climate control sys
-
tem is unsatisfactory.
䳜 8hen you press the ISG OFF but
-
ton with the engine automatically
stopped (Excluding : Manual
Transmission)
䳜 Your vehicle is moving after
standstill.
䳜 You press the accelerator and the
brake pedal at the same time.
(Excluding : Manual Transmission)
䳜 The driver safety belt becomes
unfastened or the driver door is
ajar. (Excluding : Manual Trans

mission) conditions.
The green AUTO STOP indicator ( )
on the instrument cluster will blink
for seconds.
䳜 If the ISG system does not meet
that operation condition, the ISG
system is deactivated. The light
on the ISG OFF button will illumi
-
nate.
䳜 If the light or warning message
comes on continuously, please
check the operation condition.
ISG Indication
ISG System is indicated by lamp on
the instrument cluster. If your vehi
-
cle is equipped with a supervision
cluster, the notice will illuminate on
the LCD display.
