Driving your vehicle Drive mode integrated control
The driving mode will be set to
NO3MAL or ECO mode when the
engine is restarted.
䳜 If it is in NO3MAL/SPO3T mode,
NO3MAL mode will be set, when
the engine is restarted.
䳜 If it is in Eco mode, Eco mode will
be set when the engine is
restarted.
8hen the ignition is turned on, Drive
Mode is set to ECO by default.
ECO mode
8hen Drive Mode is set to
ECO mode, the engine and
transmission control logic
are changed to maximize
fuel efficiency.
䳜 8hen ECO mode is selected by
D3IVE MODE switch, the ECO indi
-
cator will illuminate.
䳜 If the vehicle is set to ECO mode,
when the engine is turned OFF
and restarted the Drive Mode set
-
ting will remain in ECO mode.
NOTICE
Start Stop Coasting (SSC) is deacti
-
vated 8hen towing a trailer. But
Start Stop Coasting (SSC) may be
not deactivated when towing a
trailer purchased from after mar
-
ket. 8hen towing a trailer pur
-
chased from after market, it is
recommended to set Drive Mode to
NO3MAL or SPO3T.
When ECO mode is activated:
䳜 The acceleration response may be
slightly reduced if the accelerator
pedal is engaged moderately.
䳜 The shift pattern of Automatic
Transmission may change.
The above situations are normal
conditions when ECO mode is acti
-
vated to improve fuel efficiency.
-imitation of ECO mode operation:
If the following conditions occur
whilst ECO mode is operating, the
function operation is limited even
though there is no change in the
ECO indicator.
䳜 8hen driving the vehicle with the
Automatic Transmission/Dual
Clutch Transmission gear shift
lever in sport mode, the function
will be limited according to the
shift location.
