Function malfunction
8hen Lane Keeping Assist is not
working properly, the 'Check LKA
(Lane Keep Assist) system' warning
message will appear and the yellow
( ) indicator light will illuminate
on the cluster. If this occurs, have
the system checked by a profes

snow, dirt, oil, etc.
䳜 The colour of the lane marking (or
road edge) is not distinguishable
from the road
䳜 There are markings on the road
near the lane or the markings on
the road looks similar to the lane
markings
䳜 The lane marking is indistinct or
damaged
䳜 The shadow is on the lane mark

ing by a median strip, trees,
guardrail, noise barriers, etc.
䳜 There are more than two lane
markings on the road, such as a
construction area
䳜 The lane markings are compli

cated or a structure substitutes
for the lines, such as a construc

tion area
䳜 The lane number increases or
decreases, or the lane markings
are crossing complicatedly
䳜 There is a road markings such as
zigzag lines, crossroads, or road
signs
