Driving your vehicle Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)
8hen the engine is restarted with
the function off, the 䳒Blind spot
safety system is Off䳓 message will
appear on the cluster.
If you change the setting from 䳒Off䳓
to 䳒8arning only䳓, the warning light
on the outside rearview mirror will
blink for three seconds.
In addition, if the engine is turned
on, when the function is set to
䳒8arning only䳓, the warning light on
the outside rearview mirror will blink
for three seconds.
If 䳒Off䳓 is selected, the driver should
always be aware of the surround

ings and drive safely.
If the engine is restarted, Blind-Spot
Safety system will maintain the last
setting.

tion, select 䳒Driver assistance →
8arning timing䳓 from the Settings
menu to change the initial warning
activation time for Blind-Spot
Safety system.
8hen the vehicle is first delivered,
8arning timing is set to 䳒Normal. If
you change the 8arning timing, the
warning time of other Driver Assis
-
tance functions may change.
䳜 The setting of the 8arning timing
applies to all functions of the
Blind-Spot Safety system.
䳜 Even though 䳒Normal䳓 is selected
for 8arning timing, if the vehicles
approaches at high speed, the ini

tial warning activation time may
seem late.
