Fuel additives
(Petrol)
Kia recommends that you use unleaded petrol which
has an octane rating of 3ON (3esearch Octane Number)
/ AKI (Anti Knock Index) 1 or higher (for Europe) or
Octane 3ating of 3ON (3esearch Octane Number) 1 /
AKI (Anti-Knock Index) 87 or higher (except Europe).
For customers who do not use good quality petrols
including fuel additives regularly, and have problems
starting or the engine does not run smoothly, one bot

tle of additives added to the fuel tank at every 1,000
km (10,000 miles) (for Europe, Australia and New Zea

land)/ 10,000 km (6,00 miles) (except Europe, Austra

lia and New Zealand, China) / ,000 km (3,000 miles)
(for China). Additives are available from a professional
workshop along with information on how to use them.
