Towinginthismannermaybedone
onlyonhard-surfacedroadsfora
shortdistanceandatlowspeed.
Also,thewheels,axles,powertrain,
steeringandbrakesmustallbein
goodcondition.
• Donotusethetowhookstopulla
vehicleoutofmud,sandorother
conditionsfromwhichthevehicle
cannotbedrivenoutunderits
ownpower.
• Avoidtowingavehicleheavier
thanthevehicledoingthetowing.
• Thedriversofbothvehiclesshould
communicatewitheachother
frequently.

• Attachatowingstraptothetow
hook.
• Usingaportionofthevehicle
otherthanthetowhooksfor
towingmaydamagethebodyof
yourvehicle.
• Useonlyacableorchain
specificallyintendedforusein
towingvehicles.Securelyfasten

securelytothehook.

ahead.
