INSTALLATION
3. ASSEMBLING of the TD shaft and the Transducer unit
1) Screw TD shaft into the Transducer unit.
Make sure not to damge the TD shaft or twist the Transducer unit Cable.
Totally wipe dirts and grease from the threaded parts of the Transducer unit and TD shaft.
Apply adhesive, waterproof sealer (Bathcork; supplied) to the threaded parts of the TD shaft.
Coat the attached cap bolts with adhesive to prevent an electric corrosion after clamping the
TD shaft securely with cap bolts.
Put a Bow Mark with a felt pen at the top end of the TD shaft as shown in the drawing.

Pay attention to the following when mounting the
TD shaft into the Transducer unit or demounting
the TD shaft from the Transducer unit.
Make sure of the metal parts of Transducer unit
fixed and turn the TD shaft side when demounting it
from the Transducer unit. Otherwise the
Transducer unit or the Transducer unit Cable gets
damaged.
CAUTION
Do not apply any sealants inside the TD shaft.
Otherwise the Transducer unit Cable is adhered
and gets damaged when demounting it.
BOW MARK
Mark using and oil-ink felt pen
Apply some adhesive to coat 4 cap bolts.
