If the misfeed occurred
before the sheet of paper
entered the Fusing Unit,
gently pull the misfed sheet
up and out as shown.

If the misfeed occurred after
the sheet of paper entered
the Fusing Unit, gently pull
the misfed sheet toward you
and out as shown.
§ Since the toner has not yet
been fixed onto the sheet of
paper, be careful not to soil
your hands or clothes when
pulling out the misfed sheet.
§ Do not remove the misfeed
by pulling on the sheet of
paper toward the output end
of the Fusing Unit as shown.

Reinstall the Imaging Unit
and close the Upper Unit.
