Displays the
measured value

The sample vessel containing the
liquid moves down until a
maximum force is registered. The
vessel is moved back upwards; the
value of the maximum force is now
determined exactly.
Relaxing

The liquid is moved upwards again
until the maximum force is reduced
by the percentage value given under
Relaxation
.
The steps
Measuring

Relaxing
are repeated until all the
measurement has been completed.

Displays the final
results:

The measurement is complete. The
data found are used to display the
mean value of the interfacial tension,
