Display Action Explanation
Insert the light
phase and
immerse the
probe completely
Insert the sample
vessel containing
the light phase and
move the sample
upwards until the
ring is covered.
Taring
automatic
Taring the probe in the light phase
Remove the light
phase, clean the
probe, insert the
heavy phase and
position the probe
above the surface
Carry out activities
according to
display.
At the end move the
surface up until it is
just below the
probe.
Searching
automatic
Searches for the surface: the liquid
is moved upwards until the probe
“jump“ is registered. The surface
position is stored.
Immersing
automatic
Immerses the probe to the given
immersion depth.
Cover with the
light phase
Carefully overlay
the heavy phase
with the light phase,
best done by
running it down the
vessel side from a
pipette.
