Conveyor Belt Centering
The conveyor belt must be kept centered at all times.
This should be checked daily.
NOTE: The distance must be the same on both
sides of the belt.
The machine must be parked and shut
off with all attachments lowered.
Be sure to insert safety pins before
making adjustments. (Page 4-4)
To center the conveyor belt:
1. Measure the distance from both sides of the belt to
the frame. (Figure 4-13)
2. Determine which side of the belt is closest to the
frame. The adjustment will be made on that side of
the belt. If the closest is the drive side, proceed with
Step 3. If the closest is on the bearing side, skip to
Step 8.

3. Loosen cap screw on the top and bottom of the
drive assembly.
4. Loosen the jam nut and adjust position of drive by
adjusting screw.
5. Allow conveyor to run several minutes, then recheck
measurements.
6. If belt is not centered, adjust in the opposite
direction accordingly, or repeat Steps 3 and 4.
7. If belt is centered, tighten the jam nut and the top
and bottom cap screws.
8. Loosen bearing support cap screws so the bearing
position can be changed.
9. Loosen the lock nut and adjust bolt as needed.
10. If belt is still not centered, repeat Steps 8 and 9. If
belt off center, adjust in the opposite direction.
11. If belt is now centered, repeat Step 7.
Lift and Lower Conveyor
Lift and lower the discharge conveyor (rear) using
the conveyor switch on the console to the right of the
operator’s station. (Page 3-4)
This is a three-position lever (the center position is
OFF). When the lever is moved forward to the UP
position, the conveyor is raised. When the switch is
moved rearward to the DOWN position, the conveyor is
lowered.
Raise the front of the conveyor using the conveyor lever
located on the left side of the operator control console.
(Figure 4-8)
The conveyor must be raised high
enough to allow a truck to be positioned underneath.
Always lower the conveyor when traveling.
If working under the conveyor, be sure
to insert the safety pins into the cylinders to prevent
injury. (Page 4-4)
