TOWING
Wheels must be blocked to prevent
machine from moving while preparing machine for
towing.
Prepare the machine for towing as follows:
1. Block wheels to prevent machine from moving.
2. Unhook hoses on shifter and plug hoses.
3. Using a small pry bar, manually pull shifting lever at
front of rear-end until it is fully extended.
4. Now push the lever back in.
5. Find center position to disengage gears for towing.
6. On the sides of the rear-end, locate the screw with a
square head.
7. Using a caliper, measure the exact extension of the
screw. Record measurement.
8. Turn the screw completely in to release the brakes.
To return the machine from towing condition to normal
operation, proceed as follows:
• Push shifting lever at front of rear-end all the
way in.
• Adjust square head screw to the exact position
measured in Step 5 above.
• Reattach hoses to the shifter.
