Charge Filter
There are two charge lters, one on each side of the
machine. These lters should be changed when the
hydraulic uid is changed. Simply unscrew the lters,
dispose of properly, and reinsert new lters. (Figure
5-14)

Pump Drive Gear Oil
It is important to check the pump drive gear oil level and
ll if needed. (Figure 5-15)
To check the pump drive gear oil level:
1. Shut down the machine and let the engine cool.
2. Unscrew the dipstick (red cap).
3. The gear oil level should reach the top of the knurl
section on the dipstick.
4. Fill if needed and reinsert dipstick.

Transfer Case
The transfer case is located on front the rear axle.
(Figure 5-16)
To check the transfer case gear oil level:
1. Shut down machine and apply park brake.
2. Unscrew the transfer case gear oil plug.
3. Oil should be level with bottom of plug hole.
4. Fill if needed.

Planetary Hub
The planetary hub is mounted on each side of the rear
axle. (Figure 5-17)
You will need an assistant to properly check the the
gear oil level:
1. With assistance from a ground guide, the operator
should slowly drive the machine forward until the
planetary hub plug is at the 3 o’clock or 9 o’clock
position.
2. Shut off the engine and apply park brake.
3. Unscrew the planetary hub plug.
4. Oil should be level with bottom of plug hole.
5. Fill if needed.
