SYMPTOM CAUSE REMEDY
Engine won’t turn over.
Battery low. Check batteries.
Ignition switch defective. Check ignition switch.
Controls not in neutral. Check safety neutral switches.
Engine ground corroded. See Engine Operator’s Manual.
E-STOP is engaged. Manually release emergency stop.
Engine won’t start but does
turn over.
Low fuel level. Check fuel in tank.
Contaminated fuel. Drain fuel tank and rell.
Fuel ow cut-off.
Check fuel cut-off.
Check power to fuel cut-off.
See engine manual.
Machine won’t move..
Hydraulic uid level low. Check hydraulic oil level.
Drive cable improperly attached.. Check drive cable connections.
Parking brake not released. Release emergency stop brake.
Drive motor defective. Check drive motor.
Hydraulic pump pressure too low. Check hydraulic pump pressure.
Hydraulic control valve
doesn’t function.
Hydraulic oil level too low. Check hydraulic oil level.
Relief valve stuck. Check relief valve to see if stuck open.
Suction lter clogged. Check hydraulic suction lter.
Parking brake will not
release.
Parking brake switch defective. Check parking brake switch.
Brake circuit not complete. Check wire connections.
Solenoid valve defective. Check solenoid valve.
Conveyor belt inoperable.
Hydraulic uid level low. Check hydraulic uid level.
Hydraulic lter clogged. Check hydraulic uid lter.
Foot pedal brake doesn’t
function.
Insufcient pressure in brake
system
Check pressure at caliper (should be 1700 psi).
Pressure switch defective. Check charge valve.
Conveyor belt locks. Conveyor jam. Run conveyor belt in reverse to release jam.
Conveyor belt slips. Conveyor belt too loose.
Loosen lock nut, then tighten set screw back
to lock nut. Tighten lock nut. Repeat until belt
does not slip.
