ITEM NO. CONTROL NAME FUNCTION
1 Tilt Screw Adjusts the tilt of the end gate (one on each extension).
2 End Gate Depth Screw Controls the asphalt depth at the end gate (one on each extension).
3 Flight Screw Controls the depth of the asphalt (one on each side of main screed).
4 Crown and Valley Adjuster Adjusts for positive crown or negative valley in wear plate.

Angle of Attack (AOA)
Adjuster
Adjusts the rear of the screed wearplate on the screed extensions to
provide the best mat. Moves up or down and can level extension at wide
widths (one on each extension).
6 Sonic Auger Sensor Mount
The sonic auger sensor automatically detects pile height and controls
the amount of material owing to the endgates, gauging the amount of
paving material in the extensions.
