GENERAL INFORMATION
The LeeBoy Model 5300B Compact Paver is equipped
with hydrostatic-driven tracks that propel the paver
using friction-controlled joysticks. The two joysticks
control the speed and direction of the paver in
conjunction with the machine speed setting. Ramping
for acceleration and deceleration are proportional to the
movement of the joysticks.
The innovative control panel includes push-button
keypad controls for paving functions. Operators can
choose paving functions at a glance of paving function
symbols on four control panel keypads, which also
illuminates to show function status.
The LeeBoy 5300B Compact Paver offers a unique
feature for paving professionals. The operator can raise
each wing individually. Independent control of one or
both hopper wings allows paving alongside buildings
or other obstructions with ease. When fully open, the
hopper can hold a payload up to seven (7) tons.
Right and left augers rotate to move material from the
conveyors to the screed, and can be operated manually
or in AUTO mode when the optional sonic sensor
system is installed and active.
The screed has hydraulically-controlled extensions that
move in and out to allow a paving base from 4 - 7 feet.
Screed heating is accomplished by electric heating
elements mounted directly to the wear plates for
maximum performance and efciency.
Only authorized personnel who are
properly trained should operate the LeeBoy Model
5300B Compact Paver.
