Parked RegenerationParked Regeneration
If the DPF is at Level 2 or 3, and no engine faults
are present, perform parked regeneration using the
following procedure:
1. Park the paver in an open area away from people,
equipment, trees/shrubbery, debris, and combusti-
ble materials as exhaust temperatures will increase
considerably during regeneration.
2. Place the paver in NEUTRAL and engage the park
brake.
• Ensure the coolant temperature is the operating
range of 155° to 160° F.
3. Set the engine to low idle.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPERATE
THE UNIT, CHANGE ENGINE RPM OR MOVE FROM
PARK/NEUTRAL WHILE REGEN IS OCCURRING. This
will abort the Regeneration process and require you
to start the process over.
4. From the engine screen, press Button #4 to access
DPF commands. A pop-up banner appears with re-
generation selections corresponding to the buttons.
