ITEM NO. CONTROL NAME FUNCTION
1 Sonic Auger Sensor
The sonic auger senses the asphalt height and automatically adjusts
the material ow to maintain an even pavement nish. The sonic auger
sensor slides into this mount on the screed extension and plugs into the
sonic cable connection.
2 Depth Screw Controls the asphalt depth at the end gate.
3 Tilt Screw Adjusts the tilt of the end gate.

Screed Extension Angle of
Attack (AOA) Screw
Adjusts the rear of the extension wearplate to provide the best mat.
Moves up or down and can level extension at wide widths.
5 Remote Screed Controls Controls for screed functions.
6 Flight Screw Controls the depth of the asphalt (one on each side of main screed).
7 Crown and Valley Adjuster
Adjusts for positive crown or negative valley in wear plate.
NOTE: Power Crown option available.
8 Electric Heat Box
Control box for the electric screed heat (and heated endgate option if
equipped).
