Operation

It is imperative that the operator follow the instructions
shown on the third message: During this process: DO
NOT move machine out of park or neutral. DO NOT
touch the accelerator pedal/lever. DO NOT turn the
engine off or stop the regeneration process.

If the DPF is at Level 2 or 3, and no engine faults
are present, perform parked regeneration using the
following procedure:
1. Park the paver in an open area away from
people, equipment, trees/shrubbery, debris, and
combustible materials as exhaust temperatures will
increase considerably during regeneration.
2. Place the paver in NEUTRAL and engage the park
brake. (Page 4-4)
• Ensure the coolant temperature is the operating
range of 155° to 160 F°.
3. Set the engine to low idle. The rst DPF message
will appear. (Figure 4-44)
