Lowering the ConveyorLowering the Conveyor
Remove all tools or foreign objects
before lowering and clear the area of untrained
personnel.
1. Check that the area under the conveyor is clear of
tools or foreign objects.
2. Turn engine ON and raise conveyor off safety prop.
3. Carefully release safety prop and fold back down
into place.
4. Push the Conveyor Raise/Lower switch on the main
control panel to the LOWER position, holding the
switch until the conveyor is fully lowered.
5. Insert the hopper wing fold-out tool into the slot and
pull up, pushing the hopper wing with your other
hand as the wing leverages back into place.
6. Repeat on the other side.
7. Reinstall bolts on the upper wing hinges (ve on
each hopper wing) and torque. (See Torque chart in
Section 2.)
8. Return the hopper wing fold-out tool back to its
mount on the right engine access panel door and
reinsert the cotter pin to secure it.
5. Push down on the hopper wing fold-out tool while
holding on and pulling the top of the hopper wing.
You will feel the hopper wing fold out from its bottom
hinge as you leverage with the conveyor tool.

6. Repeat Steps 3 - 4 on the other side.
7. Push the Conveyor Raise/Lower switch on the main
control panel to the RAISE position, holding the
switch until the conveyor is fully raised. (Figure 5-3
on the previous page.)
8. Pull the safety prop at the front of the conveyor bed
up to secure into place. (Figure 5-8)
Crush Hazard! Safety prop must be
placed in position. Use extreme care when working
under conveyors. Clear the area of untrained
personnel.
9. Turn off the engine.
