LLV = Factor * Load Resolution Or LLV = (FSD * Factor) / FSD Counts
Where: -
the Factor is: -
400 for a class/grade 0.5 system (0.5% accuracy) (Not for ASTM E4)
200 for a class/grade 1 system (1% accuracy)
100 for a class/grade 2 system (2% accuracy)
the Load Resolution is: -
the smallest change of load that can be measured on the digital display.
FSD is: -
Load capacity of the loadcell
The FSD Counts is: -
104860 (effectively an 18-bit ADC)
Therefore, a YLC loadcell may be verified and used down to 1% of its maximum load value for
a class 0.5 system. If a 1% system is acceptable, then the loadcell may be used down to 0.5%
of its maximum load.
